Joshua Holz is a film director from New York. His grad film thesis was awarded the Governor’s Made in NY Grant and received nominations at Oscars®, Emmys, and Canadian Screen Awards qualifying film festivals and broadcast. He has produced work for DAZED, Interview Magazine, and W.W. Norton & Company and exhibited work at the Grififn Museum of Photography.
He is currently developing Vera, a western feature film.
Music is crucial to Holz’s filmmaking, having shot for artists including Rico Nasty and Laura Pausini.
In his free time, Joshua loves shooting with his Rolleiflex camera, marathon running, and playing Zelda.
